OK, so it’s definitely been a long time since I’ve posted on here. Some of you have mentioned this…I’m sure some of you I blocked out as soon as you said it. LOL! But here I am!
So this past weekend was the 4th of July weekend. We had a Family Reunion up in Colorado from the 2nd-5th. At first, I was worried about so much family being together, but in the end, it ended up being REALLY good. For the most part, there was no physical damage done to anyone…well…most everyone was ok. Dewey got hurt going down the Alpine slides. I told them not to do it. I tried to remind them of what happened to me when I was 4 yrs old…but NO…they decided to go…and Dewey got hurt. He’ll live. Also, there didn’t seem to be much bickering. Everyone seemed to get along pretty well. I got to see a lot of family that I hadn’t seen in years!! It was great! And I got to see my oldest cousin, Jessica, for the 2nd time and meet her adorable children! They were so cute! The twins are precious, and Sam is a hoot! And I got to meet her husband Nathan. He seemed to get along really well with the family. They are awesome and I’m so glad I got to spend time with them and with all the family that was there. We counted it and I think there were 56 people there!
The sad thing is that my brother wasn’t able to go. It would have been more fun with him there, but he’s been working in the Ft. Worth area this week, so I got to see him 3 nights this week! He was going to try to come over tonight, but alas, he couldn’t find someone to give his other coworkers a ride back. Hopefully he will be able to play rock band with us tomorrow night.
Well, this Sunday I’ll be in town, cuz I have to teach in Relief Society *sigh*. I don’t know why they want ME to be a teacher. They must be crazy. Anywho. Next weekend, though, I’ll be in San Antonio!! YAY! I’m going to hang out with my Uncle Cory, his wife Heather, and my cousin Sariah! I think Dewey, Jeffrey and Bryan might be going also, but I’m not sure yet. I plan on going to Sea World, at least to see the Dolphins, and hopefully make it down to the Riverwalk. I have a coworker that lives in San Antonio, so I’ll probably hang out with her one day as well. Maybe I’ll look for some YSA wards in the area and go there for church on Sunday. We’ll see.
Hmm. I guess that’s it for now. Life is pretty much the same as always. So…till next time! SMILE!
